I’ve been considering Lasik for years now. I’ve wore glasses since I was 9, and now that I’m 30, I’m used to it, but I’d still like to have 20/20 vision. Due to an eye injury a few years back, I can’t wear contacts long term, and glasses are a bit of a pain. I’m sure if I added up all of the money I’ve spent through the years on annual eye exams, expensive frames (because nice, pretty frames don’t come cheap!), and lenses, it would come out to be more expensive than the cost of Lasik. There are doctors doing Lasik all over now, and each one seems to be undercutting the price of another. Just because someone promises cheap Lasik doesn’t mean that you should go there – you should always investigate the doctors you’re going to put your trust in before handing over your money and your eyesite.
