Another stressor during the holiday season is work. There are probably deadlines to be met and projects to be completed before the new year begins. As for me, I’m trying to wrap up something I’ve been working on for months before I go on vacation. I guess my boss is pretty pleased with me, because I got a nice raise this year, AND I’m still working from home. However, we are supposed to get employee reviews in our company, and I’ve never gotten one! It’s nice to hear that you ARE doing well when you get a raise. Maybe I’ll get my boss some performance review software for Christmas. I’m actually surprised that with a company as big as ours that they don’t hold him to doing reviews for our team!
