Earlier today I mentioned how I get sort of “anti-depressed” at this time of year. If you’re not so lucky, here are a few tips for coping with the holidays:
Don’t force yourself to be happy.
Let friends and family you can trust know how you’re feeling, so you can lean on the for support.
Don’t expect a “perfect” holiday.
Don’t try to find the “perfect” gift.
Plan ahead so your tasks don’t seem overwhelming.
Get help if you can’t cope.
