I’ve always been interested in tracing my family tree. I do know that I’ve got family from Sweden, Scotland, and Ireland. On a trip to the UK once, with my mom, we were able to not only visit with distant cousins, but we got to visit the town her mom grew up in. It’s a lot easier for people to make those long lost family connections with the internet to help us out. There’s a cool new website out there called ZOOOF, The Family Network, where you can create an interactive family tree and invite other family members to add to it. Right now, the site is inviting people from 49 countries to become a beta tester – the beta period will last through February 14th, and then the site will be open for the general public. If you’re into geneology and are interested in being a beta tester for ZOOOF, you can send your name, email, country, and gender to invite[at]zooof[dot]com to receive an invitation to join the beta testing.![]()
