I don’t think I mentioned how happy I am that Sindy decided to walk in Tampa in 2007 with me. My team has quite a few people on it, but to be honest, I’m not really a “team” walker. We had 5 people on our team in 2006, and the only people I stuck with were Cheryl and Sindy. Sindy and I found that pace for pace, we match each other really well, so we were always able to keep up with each other, and we had the same ideas as far as when to stop or when to skip a pit stop and keep walking. I don’t really have any interest in trying to walk with a team, because it’s just too difficult. Not to mention, after walking with Sindy in 2006, I can’t see sharing a tent (or hotel room) with anyone else!
