One of the things we came up with last year to give our fundraisers some more “punch” was freebies. We bought a jumbo bag of lollipops and handed them out to every kid who passed our way. They only cost us a few pennies each, but almost every kid who got a lolli turned into a donation - why? Because their parents felt guilty over taking free candy, so they put money in our buckets.
