I’ve spent 2 afternoons walking around my neighborhood passing out flyers for my yard sale and talking to people about it. As of right now, I have 2 other families definitely doing the sale with me, and a few more interested. I’d love to have 10 or more! I’m going to contact the newspaper with a little press release and see if I can get a mention, since this is for charity.

My 9 year old, who has had no interest in fundraising with me at the grocery store, has been a big help with the process. She’s walked around with me both days passing out flyers and charming people. It’s hard to refuse someone with an adorable kid. Even if we don’t get more participants for the sale, I’m meeting a LOT of neighbors, which is a nice little perk!
