I’ve got a few friends in Las Vegas, but I’ve never been there. I have a hard time picturing it - in my mind, I see a big strip of hotels and casinos, and nothing else. I know, it’s not REALLY like that, but I guess I can’t picture the whole desert living thing. Doesn’t it get…hot? (But it’s a dry heat, right?)
Lots of people can see themselves living in Las Vegas though, because the city is booming, and so is Las Vegas Real Estate. Condos are going up all over the city and the suburbs, golf course communities are being built, and retirement homes are going up. In fact, I just saw a couple on Moving Up that liked gambling so much, they were leaving New Jersey and retiring in Las Vegas - ain’t that the life? Could you imaging living in one of those swanky Las Vegas high rise condos, and having the city at your beck and call? I’m sure the glitz and glitter would be tiring after a while, but you can still golf, or boat, or enjoy the area…or visit the Chicken Ranch
