Thankfully, Jim and I never had a problem conceiving our kids. If anything, our problem was that I could get pregnant just by being in the same room with Jim. It certainly wasn’t easy, having 3 kids in 3 1/2 years, but somehow we did it, and those days are long behind me. As I near…bleah, 31, I got to thinking - what if we hadn’t had kids when we did? What if we were still waiting, and when it came time to try, it didn’t work? I have a friend right now pondering her next step in the baby game. She got married late in life and waited a few more years before trying for a baby, and nothing is happening, despite months of having fun trying to make a baby. If she lived close to Chicago, I could tell her about Dr. Randy Morris and his IVF treatment clinic. She doesn’t, so I’m telling YOU in case you know someone who needs this information.

A friend of mine was close to the 40 mark and her clock was shrilling. She tried IVF and, sadly, it didn’t work for her. She’s now resigned to the idea of having no children. A shame, eh.
