I just realized there are only about 6 weeks left til the walk. In true “waiting til the last minute” form, I haven’t worried about packing, or buying a sleeping bag or air mattress yet. I did make plans to get a room on Thursday night close to the starting point so that I don’t have to get up at the crack of dawn to get started. Jim will be coming down on Friday to go to cheering stations with the kids, and again on Sunday to join me at the closing ceremonies.
I gotta say - it was neat walking in Philly last year, but I’m really looking forward to having my little family visit me on the route and at the end!

6 weeks? Isn’t the walk Oct 5th-7th? That’s only 4 weeks away, babe! And it’s also the same weekend I’ll be away in Rehoboth again! What day are you coming to town?

Sean and the kids and my parents are coming Sat. and Sunday too and some friends as well. Having that support and seeing them during the walk really helps.
