I scored pretty well, although there were a few things that make me question my score a little bit. For example, there's a question about whether I've shopped at the Farmer's Market this month, but, unfortunately, they're all closed for the winter... On that note, I'm guessing GoreTex isn't the best stuff for the planet, but I'm not exactly sure how it compares to other materials - which tells me I have some homework to do. I'm a photographer, and hike a lot, in the rain - that's what it does in Seattle - so I have a good deal of GoreTex outer-ware... Still, I got an 86; the test tells me I'm about as good as can be.

One thing that's notably absent from the quiz is the diet. There are questions about eating locally grown and organic food ... nothing to do with whether or not a person eats meat. Becoming a vegetarian has about the same carbon impact as switching from an SUV to a hybrid! I should get extra credit for that, no...? :D

My one guilty pleasure, though, is going out on road trips. For the holidays I drove 400 miles through paradise, almost pristine wilderness. Fortunately that's only a tank of gas, but it's still a tank more than was strictly necessary. On other other hand, I like to pretend the photos I bring back help convince other people that it's important to think about preservation...

I'm glad to read there are still people who care about charity ... about making the world a better place. Good luck on the garage sale - and congratulations! On not having lost sight of what's truly important in life...

See, that's why you're a great team member. :) I knew you'd help me. Thanks Colleen. My grandmother lost both her breasts to breast cancer. You're right, that was a hell of a lot harder than what I'm looking at.

((Hugs)) Thanks for opening my eyes in my moment of fear. You're a good friend.

Also every singel state up and down and across. There is nothing you can really do except, stretch and work out the pains. Why you and your family walked..good job.. and I'm glad to have found your site.

I have high arches, and most of the shoes for sale are flat inside. The ones that say they have arch support usually have just a little bit. Rarely I'll find shoes that have a good amount of arch support.
